This policy covers the Bowls Captain public website and logged-in web application. It explains the cookies and browser-storage technologies we use and the choices available to you.
Strictly necessary technology
Bowls Captain uses a signed, HTTP-only session cookie where needed to keep an authenticated user signed in and protect the service. This is necessary for the logged-in service to work, so it is not controlled by the analytics choice.
Analytics
Google Analytics is optional. It is used to understand visits and which pages and features are used so Bowls Captain can be improved. The Google Analytics script is not loaded unless you select Accept analytics.
Google Signals and advertising-personalisation signals are disabled. We do not deliberately send player names, email addresses, telephone numbers, availability comments or other club-entered personal information to Google Analytics.

Change your choice
You can change your analytics choice at any time. Choosing No thanks stops Bowls Captain loading Google Analytics on subsequent page loads. You can also delete existing Google Analytics cookies using your browser controls.
